Lifting supervisors from Level 2 oversee crane and rigging operations on site, making sure lifts follow the lift plan and safety requirements from set-up through completion.
Typical Responsibilities
- • Supervising lifting operations against the approved lift plan
- • Coordinating crane operators, riggers, and banksmen
- • Checking lifting gear, ground conditions, and exclusion zones
- • Stopping work and escalating when conditions are unsafe
Certifications & Training
- • Lift plan and rigging awareness
- • Certified heavy lifting supervisor (external body accredited)
